Benefits of a handlebar lock on a motorbike

What is the best lock for our bike?

We all deliberate over the different motorcycle parts we need for our bikes, and how we can secure it. We take the time to figure out what’s best for us, what will serve our purpose and keep our bike secure. A motorcycle is heavy enough that it is not that convenient to lift up and take away, but we want to make that process even harder if possible. We want to ensure that’s is not easy to push the bike anywhere. We want to make it as hard as possible to get the bike away from the place where we secured it.

Why a handlebar lock?

A handlebar lock is a practical way of disabling the bike from being used. There are many materials and types available, we found that aluminium alloy locks worked well for us. We use our bikes a lot, but we also park up our bikes a lot. When my bike is parked, I want it to be as secure as possible. When we talk about motorcycle parts, we usually take about performance. Well, this should be the same way you think about it, you want the lock that performs best for you. Maybe you are someone on the go, and you want something portable and easy to store. I want a sturdy lock, I don’t equate size with strength, so although I want something small and portable, I also want that lock to be strong and durable.

What kind of handlebar lock?

I want the materials used in my handlebar lock to last all sorts of conditions. It needs to work in the rain, in the snow, and under the abuse that all my accessories get. I also want it to adapt to my other bike. Why do I need 2 locks for my 2 bikes, if I only ever ride one at a time? The answer is, I don’t. I need a lock that’s variable fitting, so it will fit my main bike, and also my second one. I also want a lock that cannot be cut easily. They say a chain is only as strong as the weakest link. Well, you can control the quality of the material, so make sure this is a strong link.

What handlebar lock would we recommend?
